    Systems Operations Analyst / Product Support Consultant - Monitoring

    Systems Operations Analyst
    will provides expert advice and professional leadership to solve complex System Outages or performance degradation issues.

    Responsibilities
    • Provides expert advice and professional leadership to solve complex System Outages or performance degradation issues.
    • Participates in all critical application restoration calls and is able to use monitoring tools such as Team Quest, OEM, Ca APM and Splunk to drive to root cause and quickly provide incident solutions for application restoration.
    • Attends and participates in transition meetings from delivery teams designed to provide knowledge of new or changes to applications in production.
    • Demonstrated ability to work with Vendors and offshore support teams in a 24/7 environment.
    • Comfortable working with and sharing information with senior leadership during crisis calls.
    • Actively participates in daily production calls and works with external teams like Delivery, Dev Ops and Infrastructure teams to solve complex production issues in a fast paced customer facing environment.
    • Devises or modifies procedures to solve problems or improve performance based upon analysis and considering capacity, scheduling and infrastructure.
    • Responds to and or improves automated alerts designed to notify the team of pending issues that may be building in the environment.
    • Able to read, analyze and document code to improve existing system logic.
    • Monitors current intake channels such as HPSM, Emails and Service Now to be sure the customer priorities are satisfied.
    • May work with client management to identify complex business requirements and processes in the application design, testing and implementation process (e.g., diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools, etc.).
    • Coordinates the activities with other IT sections (e.g., data base, operations, technical support, etc.).
    • Acts as expert technical resource to development staff in all phases of the development and implementation process.
    • Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis.
    • Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders.

    Qualifications
    • BS In Computer Science or relative job experience
    • Minimum 5 years experience with day to day operations background with the following types of applications
      • Oracle
      • Java
      • Mongo DB
      • JBOSS
    • Experience with Monitoring tools such as Team Quest, Ca APM, OEM, Splunk and HPSM\Service Now
