Business BA to Represent Claims on IT Projects
 
Our client in Hartford, CT is seeking a Business Analyst to join a high performing Business Analysis team.  This is a 1 year contract with possible Contract to Hire.
 
Overview
Our client has been using Guidewire ClaimCenter for 3+ years now and it's time to upgrade to the latest version, as well as incorporate DataHub into our claims data flows.
 
This project includes working with Claims department staff to elicit and document requirements related to the ClaimCenter upgrade.   Would be involved with User Acceptance Testing as well.
 
This person will also get involved with our COGNOS to SAP Business Objects Migration project.   We are re-platforming all our reports, which requires evaluation of report(s) need, consideration for consolidation of reports, and User Acceptance Testing.
 
Required Business Analysis Skills:
  • 7-10 Years in Business Analysis or relevant experience.
  • Strong communication and customer facing skills
  • Excellent writing and grammar skills
  • Microsoft Office
  • Experience with SQL preferred, but not required unless otherwise noted below.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, technology or related field, or significant work experience
 
Project Specific Skills:
  • GuideWire ClaimCenter experience required
  • Prior upgrade projects preferred
  • Business Operations / Claims Background
  • Superior communication skills
