Architect with strong Integation skills 
Contract to hire

Manages, plans and administers the operational and administrative activities of the Customer Relationship management (CRM) Systems Architecture section that delivers the core CRM capabilities on the mission critical customer facing, Client's core customer inbound real time channels - mobile, IVR, my"Client", agent(Oneview) and thru email, print and text (many more channels in near future). Core capabilities of CRM include marketing campaigns, improving customer engagement, driving customers towards next based action derived based on analytics on customer interactions with Client and continuous engagement with customer to improve customer health, best in class customer experience on the all customer facing channels, driving customer to gain the full benefits of the plan and reduce cost. CRM is built on an industry leading technology pack of Teradata product suite on Teradata database and Big Data DB (Hbase) along with connectivity to Client built enterprise opportunity repository and enterprise interaction repository on Hadoop big data platform. This role is in support of delivering for the Client's key portfolio projects – CRM, One guide, AIMS, Pharmacy roadmap and Moments that matter.

Responsibilities
  • Plans and schedules the development, introduction, communication and maintenance of the corporate systems architecture including the applications, data, and infrastructure architectures and assures that this architecture is integrated with the business area architectures.
  • May organize and control the activities of the section, may assign personnel to the various projects and may direct their activities.
  • Define and develops strategic architectural frameworks and CRM capability roadmaps; lead the execution plan for the strategic technical roadmap
  • Responsible for communication of the architectural strategy with enterprise architecture, business stakeholders, IT delivery partners, and IT Operations/Infrastructure teams
  • Collaborate with business, enterprise architecture and other technical partners to ensure design and development patterns are appropriate and extensible
  • Supports business and product delivery partners in successful build, test, and release of solutions while ensuring adherence to the Enterprise Architecture direction and strategies
  • Analyzes and understand impact and business system –level interdependency of changes
  • Establish appropriate use of architectural patterns for a project or client
  • Supports design and development of complex enterprise solutions on JVM-hosted environments
  • Works with distributed requirements and technical stakeholders to complete shared design and development, ensuring consistency of approach and facilitating resolution of cross-team issues and dependencies
  • Leads and manages design and full life cycle development, including publishing design documentation and making key/strategic design decisions for technology, structure, and the configuration and testing of CRM systems and solutions
  • Develop and enforces coding standards, technical documentation and code reviews, establishes processes for code management, release management and migration
  • Understands and deploys optimal development methodology approaches to meet enterprise/client needs (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)
  • Architect for performance and scalability, utilizing best practices to recognize scalability and performance issues
  • Leads technical and functional data requirements mapping, data governance activities, data integration, data quality for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategies
  • Demonstrates capability to understand and incorporate evolving factors into the data design including security, performance, connectivity, ease of use, metadata
  • Develop models for differing architectural needs and data constructs (relational, dimensional, star, snowflake type models)


Qualifications
  • Requires excellent planning, conceptual, consulting and communication skills, analytical ability, strong judgment and management skills, and the ability to interact with senior business area and IT management and staff solutions.
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and typically eight to ten years of experience.

General Qualifications
  • 8-10 years of IT application and enterprise systems architecture experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting computing applications in large-scale, mainframe, midrange, and distributed environment as an Architect.
  • Proven experience in architecture/design of Enterprise Service Bus /SOA/EAI, Web API and data integration
  • Critical thinker - Able to integrate company goals and objectives into department goals and activities/communications -can work with a "blank sheet" of paper. Detailed oriented, excellent ability to multi-task: addressing critical daily issues as well as keeping focus on strategic tasks
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and work effectively with diverse groups of peers and business partners.

Desirable Technical Qualifications
  • Knowledge of CRM concepts & methodologies and ability to apply this knowledge in building CRM solutions.
  • Experience in CRM architecture (Teradata CRM product stack).
  • Design experience in the development of interface contracts between applications, services, external vendors, and workflow processes.
  • Background in systems architecture technologies and practices, including portal technologies, high availability design, internet security, identity management, web and application server environments, session management, transaction management, middleware messaging, content management and J2EE.
  • Knowledge of application development utilizing the REST API, Groovy scripts, Shell scripts
  • Experience and knowledge with Teradata DB, Hadoop DB's (HBase), Oracle DB.
  • Experience using many of the following technologies:
  • Experience with Scala and associated frameworks (Akka)
  • Experience with Healthcare integration standards (HL7, IHE profiles, etc.) are desirable
  • Layered architecture, components and interfaces
  • Languages: Jave, J2EE
  • Development Environments: Eclipse, IntelliJ
  • Middleware: Kafka, MQ
  • Databases: Hadoop (Hbase), Teradata DB, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2/UDB
  • Application Servers: IBM WebSphere, Fuse , EAP
  • Enterprise architectures with connections to others systems using COM, DCOM, CORBA
  • Architectural Design using Visio, UML diagrams and Use Case documentation
  • Experience using distributed technologies, Enterprise JavaBeans, Servlets, JSP, JMS, JDBC
  • Advanced Web Services Skills: SOAP, UDDI, XML, WSDL
