ESB Lead (IIB/WMB)
Florham Park, New Jersey
 
A leading global provider of insurance and reinsurance is currently seeking an ESB Onshore Lead to join their Information Technology team in Florham Park, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will possess 3 years of relevant experience as an IIB/WMB Developer.
 
Requirements of the ESB Lead
 
  • Minimum 3 year's relevant experience as an IIB/WMB Developer
  • Must have good hands-on experience in developing different types of integrations on IIB/WMB, e.g. SOAP Web-Services, Restful Services, MQ based integrations, Scheduled services, Aggregations & Collections, FTP/SFTP/FTPS interfaces, WebSphere Adapters (Preferably WebSphere SAP Adapters), etc.
  • Must have strong knowledge of ESQL
  • Must have strong knowledge on XML technologies
  • Must have Troubleshooting skills and knowledge using different tools and techniques for ESB
  • Must have strong experience in Core Java and JavaScript
  • Should have experience in Data Power development, e.g. developing MPGW, WSP, XML Firewall etc.
  • Should have working knowledge of Administration on any of WMQ, WMB/IIB, Datapower, WAS, WSRR
  • Should have experience in open source technologies for DevOps, e.g. Jenkins, Ant, Maven, Sonatype Nexus, Groovy, etc.
  • Strong experience working with and managing offshore teams at technical lead capacity, conducting requirements / design walk-throughs, solutioning, tech-spec'ing, code reviews, and providing support throughout the life-cycle
  • Strong experience with employing the right tools and analytics to effectively triage and manage development and / or production support issues.
  • Strong drive to find solutions to complex problems that may span multiple service, functional and technical groups.
 
Responsibilities  of the ESB Lead
 
  • Complete the delivery of design, code or testing for modules or multiple functions related to Integration Services development initiatives.
  • Provide coding, testing and implementation for IIB.
  • Analyze user requirements, and defines technical project scope and assumptions for assigned tasks.
  • Creates business and/or technical designs for new systems, and/or modifications to existing systems.
  • Programmatically verify services.
  • Guide and understand best practices.
  • Guide support to get changes pushed from test to QA and to production.
