Data Quality Automation

In this role you will be working in an agile environment responsible for implementing automated tests to ensure data quality from the data factory perspective, including:
  • Work closely with the Analysts and Data factory engineers to ensure ETL code correctness
  • Implement automated tests for validating the incremental data on a given frequency for various clients.
  • Build regression test suite for the data warehouse
  • Identify and implement big data validation with emerging technology for the data pipeline.
  • Contribute to technical documentation of test plans and processes
  • Participate in ongoing innovation to improve processes and bring scale
  • Create tools/framework to aid in automation of data testing effort.
  • Contribute to evolution of company level software development best practices, standards, and policies.
  • Ability to work individually and within groups

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience working with data, analyzing data and understanding data
  • 2+ years of experience working with any object oriented programming language like Java, Python, Scala.
  • Data Quality Automation experience
  • Bachelor's degree, or work equivalent, in data sciences, health information systems, computer science or related field

Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to query large data sets using SQL
  • Query optimization skills
  • Healthcare domain knowledge is a plus
  • Spark engine knowledge/experience
  • Analytical thinking

  • Highly analytical, curious and creative
  • Strong organization skills, very detail oriented, with careful attention to work processes
  • Takes ownership of responsibilities and follows through on hand-offs to other groups
  • Enjoys a fast paced environment and the opportunity to quickly learn new skills
  • Ability to work creatively and flexibly, both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with or an interest in learning to work with complex health care databases
  • Good written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to analyze user requests, define requirements, investigate and report conclusions.
