Our President, Ms. Kay Lukas, assumed control of the company as majority owner in September of 2000 to build upon the solid foundation and reputation that iTech had previously established. Under her guidance iTech Solutions has grown and can proudly boast of an ever expanding list of satisfied clients and project managers.

Previously at PRC, Programming Resources Company (now Insurity), Ms. Lukas was Vice-President of Consulting Services and was responsible for establishing a new Consulting Practice to compliment their existing business of Commercial Insurance Software Products.

Prior to that Ms. Lukas was a productive technical manager at Enherent, (formerly PRT) where she had various roles and responsibilities including Insurance Vertical Delivery Director for a 50 million-dollar book of business, Account Executive for a 7 million-dollar book of business, and Practice Director for a 4 million-dollar book of business.

In these varied consulting management roles she was responsible for various technology practices including, client-server, data warehousing, and application development and support projects in a variety of industries: Insurance, Manufacturing and Banking. She utilized and oversaw the implementation of the SEI/CMM framework as the software engineering framework for various applications. She has managed and supervised consulting projects at such clients as The Hartford, Fleet Bank, Travelers, Aetna, Pfizer, Prudential, Mass Mutual and Cigna.

Ms. Lukas spent a great deal of her earlier career in Information Technology Management positions working as an systems development project manager at such companies as Travelers, Fleet Bank, and United Healthcare. She worked with and managed projects focusing on information engineering, data warehousing and enterprise architectures. She is a native of Meriden, Connecticut and received her BS in Computer Science from Merrimack University in North Andover, Massachusetts.
